…Rammy Says…

About Rammy

I’m Andi “Rammy” Ramsay — sailor mouth, straight talker, book basher.

I’m a man who refuses to let life tell me “no.” Born in 1981, my world shifted dramatically in 2000 when a traumatic brain injury (TBI) nearly took everything from me.

Despite the odds, I fought back—pushing through recovery, adapting to new challenges, and embracing life’s unpredictable battles with grit and humour.

When not writing, I spend time with my family, pushing my physical limits through strength training, and continuing to tackle life head-on.

Life’s thrown a few punches (TBI, health stuff, all that jazz), but I’ve kept swinging.

Now I write books that cut the crap and say it how it is.

Through raw honesty and a refusal to comply with life’s limitations, I share my story of my first 24 years of brain damage, and all the little wins on my journey in my autobiography.

Do Not Comply

They said I wouldn’t make it. Wouldn’t survive, wouldn’t walk, wouldn’t even remember my own name. But here I am, stubborn as hell and stitched back together with staples, duct tape, and sheer defiance. A quarter of my brain is gone—blacked out like a fuse that’ll never be replaced—but the rest of me? Still sparking, still moving, still laughing in places I should be crying.

This isn’t a sob story. It’s not about pity, or “inspiration porn.” It’s about grit, humour, and flipping the bird at everything that tells you to stop. I’ve run marathons with busted knees and bloody nipples, had strangers screaming “Facthunt!” at me through the streets of Berlin, and built a life from pieces that weren’t supposed to fit.

Do Not Comply is a book about refusing to bow down when life boots you in the teeth. About laughing when it gets ridiculous. About digging out joy—real joy—from the chaos. It’s proof that strength isn’t something you’re told to have “just in case”; it’s something you forge when there’s no other option.

With over 12 years as a behaviour change specialist, the “Rammy Says” collection includes my no-bullshit approach to changing your life.

Rammy Says Act

Using real client scenarios, I’m going to share with you some examples of how to implement specific activities that can help you change your life!

Throughout this book, I’ll take you through a series of practical exercises, grounded in the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), that can guide you toward lasting transformation. These activities aren’t just theoretical—they’ve been tested in real-life situations with real people who faced their own unique challenges.

By working through these examples, you’ll see how others have applied these techniques, overcome obstacles, and made meaningful progress in their own lives. And I’m confident that you can do the same! Whether it’s tackling difficult thoughts, reconnecting with your values, or taking committed action toward your goals, these exercises will help you start making powerful shifts today.

Rammy Says Fck Happiness

You’ve been sold a lie.

Life isn’t about chasing happiness—it’s about living with purpose, even when it all goes to hell. That’s where this book comes in. No fluff. No toxic positivity. Just brutally honest advice on how to stop obsessing over feeling “good” and start focusing on what actually matters.

Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and a lifetime of real-world experience, Rammy Says F*CK Happiness* will teach you how to:

• Stop wrestling with your thoughts (because your brain’s a bit of a d*ck sometimes).

• Sit with tough emotions without losing your sh*t.

• Ditch the “good vibes only” BS and embrace life’s mess.

• Find what truly matters to you—and act on it, even when it’s hard.

This isn’t your typical self-help crap. It’s a guide for anyone tired of pretending everything’s fine, ready to ditch the toxic pursuit of happiness, and brave enough to live a life that actually means something.

So, stop chasing the rainbow ffs, Start living.

Rammy Says F*ck The Fear

Fear is a sneaky bastard. It whispers lies, keeps you small, and convinces you to stay in your comfort zone where nothing grows. But here’s the truth: fear isn’t the monster you think it is—it’s a scared little voice that loses its power the second you call it out.

In this book we’re ripping the mask off fear and exposing it for what it really is: full of shit. Through raw stories, practical exercises, and a no-nonsense approach, you’ll learn how to stop fear from running your life and start taking charge.

This isn’t some “feel the fear and do it anyway” fluff. This is about understanding why fear shows up, breaking down its lies, and turning it into fuel for the life you actually want to live.

Your fear doesn’t own you—you own it. Now it’s time to prove it.
